Bow down to the Bling

There's nothing wrong with showing off from time to time. After all, everyone loves a bit of bling. Blip's chance to show off (or show ourselves up - it can be a fine balance) came earlier this week when we found out that we'd been short-listed for a Creative Edinburgh Award.

After brushing our hair nice and cleaning under our fingernails, we arrived at one of the city's hottest clubs for the awards do, to rub shoulders with the great and good of the city's creative scene.

So it was with much joy, a little surprise and no few 'whoops' (from our intern Raquel), that we took to the stage to find out that we'd in fact won!

We were particularly taken by the knuckle duster inspired 'trophies'... Joe hasn't taken his off yet. And while he may not quite be ruling with an iron fist, we do have to bow down to the bling.
