Sulhamstead

I Stopped on the way back from my job in Hayes today to do some pics on the Kennet & Avon canal at Sulhamstead, Berkshire.

Got a lot of really nice pics, but was really happy when this mother and child came into shot.

Was shooting in Black & White at the time and I could tell the light would work perfectly in monochrome.

Love the long boat chimneys smoking away in the background.
