M42 Congestion

Half an hour I was stuck in this 'flow' of traffic. It was very slow, stop/start, but as we approached the junction for the NEC / B'ham Airport / Coventry it started to pick up in the middle and overtaking lanes.
It was all to do with the looooooooong queue of traffic leaving at this junction and all the chancers staying in the outside two lanes and then trying to push across to the left to get off at the junction. No accidents etc. just wallies!

I was on my way to Lichfield. A kindly biker, is there any other kind, had offered some GSX750FK 1989 parts for free and I wanted the front screen and the bit that goes underneath the headlight.
When I got up there he told me the plans he has for this old bike, that he'd picked up for next to nothing, and he was going to skip all the exterior fairing etc.
So, I went up for a screen, got the screen, plus very good side fairings, indicators and mirrors, all for free other than the petrol to get up there and back.
Bikers really are, in general, very generous and helpful people. Needless to say I was chuffed to bits.
