It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The lights are going up and the christmas adverts are on TV and it's still November. People say it feels like it gets earlier every year but I don't really notice that. The only reason I can think of is because I used to work in a supermarket through my teenage years and early twenties so you were always aware of how early things started hitting the shelves in store and when the music starts fitting in to the loop in the shop. It's never felt so early as it has since then, I've also started enjoying christmas music a little more, there's nothing like hearing a song all the time for the 8 weeks leading up to the big day to dampen your enthusiasm for it.
