Not a domestic godess by far

I'm afraid my domestic goddess skills are not a strong point.

I've decided to bake a cake to enjoy over the weekend and early next week. Jamie Oliver's mum's lemon drizzle cake is the inspiration (never made it before). I have used some lavender flowers in the cake...just being a bit experimental. It smells pretty great. I was so tired I didn't grease the tin, instead I was roughly folding a load of baking parchment around the inside of the tin so it may not be perfectly formed but hopefully it will not affect the taste. Tiny problem as I was about to put it in the oven was realising that I had used plain flour cue last minute mixing in of baking powder. Not sure that is going to work....we'll see!
