Chirpy cheep cheep

As I was driving through the docks I noticed loads of little birds flocking around these cranes. I stopped to have a look and tried to get some pics. Unfortunately the camera on my phone wasn't really up to the task of catching them moving without being blurred and so this is the best of the bunch.

All the cranes were covered in birds. I think they were starlings. They were making a right racket.
I'll have to check here on another day to see if they alway roost here.

Had a day's annual leave today. Got my hair cut first thing this morning and then waited in for the gas man to come to try and fix the gas fire in the flat we are still trying to sell. He couldn't work it why it wasn't working and because we couldn't find the manual he is going to have to come back another day once he's looked it up. What a waste of time!

Been snug and cosy on the sofa for the last few hours watching Children in Need but am going to have to get the waterproof on in a minute to take Bailey out for his walk. I can hear the wind whistling down the chimney, yuk!
