A day of two main parts. One was part-chairing a Cambridge Wireless event - a series of talks on the subject of The Internet of Things (that thing where your fridge spends all night in internet chatrooms). That was excellent - some very good speakers.
The evening was for games - mainly Auf Achse - a transport-themed game from 1987, complete with little trucks and loads, followed by Augustus, published this year.
Slightly scary to have been playing this sort of game for so long. Interesting to see how that's reflected in the BoardGameGeek database, with Auf Achse being entry No. 110, and Augustus being entry No. 137297!
Depressing that most people's boardgame knowledge extends to about '3'.

I consistently came almost last in both cases.
