Glasgow University

I have had a fantastic day!!
Dropped the kids of at school then got the train to Glasgow. Myself and Carolyn headed to the Jack Vettriano exhibition at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. His paintings range from being pretty and innocent to those that leave little to the imagination. It was a great exhibition, went around twice before a visit to the shop bought a book and a few cards. We then headed up along Byers Road in the West End, where I spent my late teens early 20's socialising. I Love the West End. After a few drinks and a bite to eat we jumped on the underground and went into the City Centre for a bit of shopping - great bargains!!!! It was dark very early and Buchanan Street looked oh so pretty with all the Christmas lights. We spent the rest of the day in my favourite pub - All Bar One, and laughed all afternoon and into the early evening. My day was topped of eating chips in Inverkip Playground sitting under the climbing frame taking shelter from the rain. Thanks for a great day Carolyn.X
