You should have been here yesterday!

One of the highlights for tourists to South Africa's garden route is a paddle "steamer" boat ride on the Knysna Lagoon. It is a beautiful estuary with great views of the town and local "village" type communities as well as the Heads.

Unfortunately for this large group the weather hasn't played ball today and we saw them trooping off the boat in the background looking similar to drowned rats. Most of them come here hoping to escape miserable European or UK weather and for the most part they succeed.

Someone is bound to utter the cliché - You should have been here yesterday - which is always cold comfort to those who are here TODAY!
