So close...

Argh! I think that this was nearly a cracking shot, but it was just a bit too late light-wise.

I had been visiting a client in Carlisle and had come back to Windermere via Ullswater. It was a very overcast day, so pretty poor conditions for a photo.

I was heading back up over the hill and saw this slight break in the clouds over the hills to my right, so thought I would try and capture it as the colours were pretty spectacular.
