Impressive Entrance..........

..............to the Old Gasworks in Sleaford! The old gasworks have long gone but the entrance still remains. I wonder if there were some of the old gasometers there originally - they used to rise and fall as the gas went in and out and were not the most attractive of sights!
Some of the buildings are now occupied by a Beauty Therapist. I have never been through the purple painted gates - which are usually closed when I have gone by - so I don't know the layout of the site behind the gates but I think the stone archway is rather grand.

Anni AND Shadow visited yesterday morning and she has got a lot of my files sorted out on my laptop as I have already mentioned.

I was taken to the Theatre last night by a friend as a belated Birthday present. The local drama group put on a stage production of the TV programme "Hello, Hello" - they did a sterling job - I haven't laughed so much for ages! The cast received a very well deserved standing ovation at the end. A thoroughly enjoyable night out!

A change in the weather today - very dull - though the forecasters say it will brighten up later. (in fact, it is clearing a bit as I type this) - Temperature is around the 44.Deg. F.
