New 'old' walk!

The weather forecast wasn't promising, much like the view out the window, but Caley insisted so off we went on a walk we haven't done in years and certainly not since we've had Caley. And it was lovely! A wee bit rain just as we were nearing the car on our return but otherwise dry and pleasant. It was a nice change of scene for us all.
Back for homemade soup and scones for lunch; it really is that time of year again.
It is already pitch black; time to pull the curtains and get Mr Cakes cooking the dinner I think!
