Sad family history

Went for a look round North Merchiston Cemetery today. Sadly it is neglected and the majority of headstones have fallen or been pushed over by vandals. There are a number of war graves with replacement headstones cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission though. Whilst wandering I found this sad little plaque set in the ground, slowly being lost to time.
