Weathered Hands

The abundance of nature this year has been a pleasure - there have been so many fruits, nuts and berries. I've also noticed how large the horse chestnut leaves are, I am sure bigger than I have seen them before. This morning the lawn was scattered with them - they lay russet and green, slightly curled at the ends, like large cupped hands, aged and weathered by the sun and the rain.
