Keep Off

People sometimes amaze me with their pettiness.

On a long stretch of narrow road (on the way to dog agility) someone has prevented cars from pulling off the road and out of the way of an oncoming car by positioning white painted stumps of logs on this patch of bare gravel.

Why I wonder? It's not as if they are protecting newly sewn grass seeds... Another case of because I can methinks.

As I was taking pictures a jodhpur-clad lady with a riding hat a crop appeared to see what I was doing. Seems she was responsible for the logs.

Of course I said nothing of the pettiness, but told her I was taking pictures as I thought the logs were quite beautiful ....which I do.

She clearly thought I was crackers!
