Like Hogwarts with opera

Go large on this one.

Had a bit of a magic moment in Covent Garden with TSM. We had gone up to London to do a bit of Christmas shopping and it was rather fab. Had mulled wine and mince pies then listened to the busker (in the Punch and Judy pit, the guy in the top right) singing Italian opera favourites. We cosied up and grinned and it was all rather wonderful. Coven Garden is a lovely space if you can hack the crowds. Reminded me of the main hall at Hogwarts (which is a real place of course). This was all after watching the skaters on the temporary rink at Somerset House which is a wonderful space as well.

Afterwards we bought wraps and curry at the food market by the Festival Hall and browsed the Christmas market stalls on the South Bank. Bought fairy lights for the conservatory, and bought home some apple strudel to eat.

Lovely. More like Christmas than Christmas. Bring it on, I'm really in the mood this year.
