Caitlin Moran said somewhere recently that, given the dearth of decent role models for teenage girls, for the sake of her 12 year old daughter she thanked "all the gods" for Katniss Everdean. As the father of a 13 year old girl myself, I can only agree... We've already got our IMAX tickets booked for next weekend!
