...looking really fed up and as if he's waiting for someone to light his cigarette ! Obviously a trick of the lighting. He was Bishop of Ely 1675-1684 and this is in the Cathedral. Because he was outspoken against Oliver Cromwell, he was imprisoned for his loyalty to King Charles 1. After the restoration he became Master of St John's College, Cambridge, where he composed the hymn "For All Sorts And Conditions Of Men"
