Buck's Shootout

The big day has come and gone, and all in all it was a success.

Everyone arrived nice and early at my place, where I handed out some home made t-shirts that depicted Josh dressed up as Buzz Lightyear flying through space with the tag line 'To inebriation and beyond!", as well as some buck antlers for Josh to wear all day. All day lasted until we got to the airport as the antlers were broken by then. We had a quick flight to Sydney, a quick bite then boarded out shuttle to take us to Hitting Targets

Hitting Targets is a shooting range run by Suzy Balogh who won a gold medal for Australia in the 2008 olympics. It was here that the photo above was taken, as you hopefully guessed, the other option being some gun toting nut job we met during our travels. The shot shows the buck, Josh, taking a shot, while wearing a banana outfit and a pink sash...he was one badass banana. This is also the first time I've had to back blip. The shooting was a lot of fun and was set out for a bucks group involving a few different types of shooting. We were all good enough that we shot more than we missed, which definitely made it more fun, with plenty of competitive insults along the way.

So now charged up with adrenaline we headed to our apartments, checked in, and started drinking. After a few rounds of drinking games we were onto our next destination, a cuban cigar bar. Here we had a cigar tasting class, which involved all of us having a cigar while a cigar connoisseur by the name of Sam taught us a bit about the production and differences between cigars. Very enjoyable and the bar was really very cool with delicious drinks, the mojito being the standout to me.

Dinner followed at a steak and grill place called Steel, where we all had some of the best steak of our lives! This then led into the rest of the evening which involved a pub crawl, drinking, dancing, eating and some more drinking.

We all got back to the apartments in one piece, with no one lost, hurt, bankrupt or emotional scarred so I think we can call the day a success! I know I enjoyed it.
