Rider of the Purple Sage

This afternoon I staked out the sage plant which is popular with bumble bees at present. I had lots of potential subjects but they were very quick. I wanted to get one in flight rather than with its head in a flower, so eventually resorted to using a camera burst app to help. I suppose it's cheating really but I was pleased with the result.
