Grey Day!

It's been a really grey day today and joyfully the rain has been falling steadily all day. The water tank is looking a lot healthier than it did a few days ago. To celebrate the grey day I ventured into the bush and photographed this beautiful Scribbly Gum. Every tree has its own story to tell and the interesting scribbles are made by the insect who lives beneath the bark. When the tree sheds its bark another chapter is revealed. They are one of my favourite trees in the Blue Mountains.
