Why a queue?

Just walked pass a trmendously long queue in the center of Ginza.
(Difficult to see in the photo but the queue is on the right side of this photo)

What are they queing for? Went to the end to find a restaruant with a red sign (on the left of this photo). It said today it's a charity day for them to surve their currey rice for 1000 JPY (10 USD) and make some donations for the recovery activities from March 11, 2011 earthquake.

Hmm... I wonder how good the currey rice is after queing for a few hours.

Another beautiful sky today. Also quite warm going up to 20cﾟ.
Nice day to walk around and see what's going on.
