I don't know what we planted…

… but it certainly wasn't this delightful moss. It has to be a common one, but I'm not at all 'up' in mosses and liverworts, yet.

But I can still enjoy them, although less so in the lawn! We have plenty of woods around here, so I may well have a lot of work to do in identifying just the local species.
