Frozen Stillness before Sunrise.

It was so cold this morning and Lac Retaud had already decked its icy winter coat for the next few months. Gaby and I were glad to have our warm coats on too. We climbed up into a crisp snowy scene for a wonderful walk culminating with two golden eagles circling above us at our high point. How thankful I am to be able to witness such beauty. One of them came close enough to be photographed.
