Vistautumn

Just the right light this afternoon as the still air allows the leaves to stay for a few more days at least. Meanwhile, other vistas opened up this morning at St Hilda's: a joyful dance in the round led by teenagers; a messy altar after communion with people of all ages helping to consume bread and wine; a fantastic living sermon on encouraging new gifts from unexpected people echoing the story of Hilda and Caedmon. It felt like the vision God gave four years ago taking shape around bread and wine.
