Time to roost...

After an ordinary day of shopping and report writing I felt the need to escape for an hour or so of fresh air. I timed my walk to coincide with sunset, as I'd missed a beautiful one the previous day, but it was less spectacular than I'd hoped and has had a tad of digital enhancement!

In the evening I went to the Peterborough Wildlife Group talk, which was about Hampton Nature Reserve, a site I know very well. Paul, the warden, used a number of my images in his talk - a couple of weeks ago I'd sent him a DVD with images taken from 2011 to 2013 and it was good to see that they'd come in useful. Finally arrived home just after 9.30 and ate dinner - venison and chestnut casserole - yum!
