A Move to Pickering

Our friends Mo and Phil, who we have known for around 15 years, decided a couple of months ago to move to Pickering.

They are both in their 60s and are almost like surrogate parents to us.

So, 4 weeks ago they put their bungalow in Sheffield up for sale. Having not moved house in 35 years impatience set in and a week after putting it on the market they reduced the price. Speaking to Mo last Saturday they were both down in the dumps having had only one viewing but no offer.

Fast forward to Friday, an impromptu viewing and within 4 hours of the viewing they had received an offer from a couple who have already sold their house to a first time buyer.

This is the bungalow in Pickering that they will be moving to (fingers crossed it all goes to plan).
