Zombie Run

Here is the zombie also known as Chandru. Much as I would have loved to partake in the zombie run, I had too much work to be getting on with, as well as actually having a job to work today. I don’t know whether I have mentioned it before, but I am employed by Warwick University as a student ambassador…probably because I’m very chatty and not too fazed by much! Our job is pretty much showing the university to potential students, or being hired by different university departments to train their students on the best way to show the university to potential students, but we also go into schools to promote higher education…which is one of the main reasons I do it. I would probably do it all for free, so the money is an added bonus. Anyways, the reason that Chandru is dressed up as a rather magnificent zombie is because the floorball club decided to go along and help with the proceedings of the zombie run and pretend to be zombies and chase people all day.

I do have to say though. For those not partaking in the zombie run, the number of zombies running around campus got a bit arduous. I was clearly not involved in proceedings, as I was in my bright yellow (yes, yellow) Warwick Welcome Service uniform, walking with purpose towards my flat, key out. This still meant that that a girl wearing a snorkel, a swimming costume and hat, trainers, and zombie make-up decided that she should run at me moaning. I guess she was expecting me to at least scream or something rather than my more muted reaction of “Er, no.” Anyhows, back to the photograph…taken from my bedroom window. I thought I recognised him underneath his zombie facepaints, so decided to take an “aerial” shot of proceedings.

The rest of the day I worked, meaning I could spend my evening playing round two of Cards Against Humanity. The more you play it the worse the combinations get. Just sayin’.
