Up For The Cup

Unfortunately Welton lost 8-3 this afternoon but as it was a cup game against a team one league higher there was no shame in that and the boys did themselves proud.

In other news there was much ironing and lounging around and I have been noticing just how many times in Famous Five adventures Julian and Dick go off and lounge around while waiting for the girls to get on with the cooking, tidying and washing up. Not to mention just how obsessed Enid Blyton was with food.
