On weekends here in Yuma, it's off to the flea markets. My favourite is the one indoors that has been arranged in space that was formerly a large retail store. Here, I can wade through used paperbacks. Today I scored three!

I found more than books today. I found a pooch in a pram. I first noticed this phenomena last winter. One of the flea markets even sells these pet carriers in a wide variety of colours and sizes! I'd never experienced this sort of devotion to pets before. I've certainly never seen that at home!

When I first noticed one last year, I wrongly assumed that Grandma and Grandpa were just babysitting the dog with the kids. I wondered where the kids were!

The pampered pooch today had a cute little pink hat. It's a dog's life!
