Things are a-happening!

Cloudy, very windy and warm today, so I didn't venture out to the park. This evening though, we went to church for the annual Thanksgiving dinner, followed by holiday decorating, packing shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse, and, of course, kitchen cleanup. The food was great, and the crowd was having a good time until...the lights went out! And they didn't come back on. The Samaritan's Purse boxes got finished though and the last of the kitchen cleanup was done in the dark, but the decorating will have to wait until another evening because it barely got started. As it turned out, most of the neighborhood was without power, including our daughter's family, but the power at our house, a few miles away, was still on. Otherwise I wouldn't be posting this blip!
