Christmas Cherub

Lovely Christmas decorations at Fortnum & Mason.

What a beautiful but cold day in London when we arrived in time for breakfast at Liverpool St Station. We were going to go up The Shard since it was such a great day but when we phoned the first available time slot was 5.30 :(
After breakfast we dropped our bags off at the hotel before walking through Hyde Park to Fortnum & Mason. What a beautiful shop indeed. We spent the morning browsing and buying (the odd thing or two) before finding an Italian restaurant one street behind the main hussle and bustle. What a find. Fantastic food, great service and not at silly prices. Shopped some more then it was cocktail time :) After a few, I mean a couple we headed back to the hotel for predinner aperitifs ;) For dinner we found a restaurant not far from the hotel but away from the Main Street. A very busy Spanish tapas bar. Fantastic. Great first day in London.
