Connection

I've had a good day at school and met some new groups today. The person I have been covering for actually came back last Wednesday and since then they have been jiggling their timetables around to keep me on which is kind of them. The department are great and I like being part of the team. They are keen for me to stay longer so we are having discussions about possible options and we'll see. Tomorrow is officially my last day there for this week but I may go back.

I telephoned PC World today for an update on my laptop and as a result I would like to vent my frustrations. Here are the reasons why:-
1. I handed my laptop in to be fixed LAST Tuesday.
2. I heard nothing all week.
3. I telephoned this afternoon to be told that my laptop was picked up from the store to be looked at by the fixing people TODAY....I shall repeat that.... It was picked up TODAY! My laptop has been sitting around gathering dust for nearly week.
4. Nobody told me it would take this long
5. And just to add insult to injury I may not get my laptop back until December Yes, that is what the man on the phone said - December!!.But he obviously couldn't tell me what the problem was with my laptop or if it was fixable as nobody had looked at it yet. So who knows?! Brilliant! What fantastic customer service!?!

Thankfully a friend has a spare laptop which she is letting me borrow until mine is returned so hopefullly I will still be able to connect to the outside world and blip.
