The Pumps, Dolores River, Colorado

This photo was taken at "The Pumps" on the Dolores. A stunning, gorgeous and peaceful place. My friend Pat and I took the dogs there. The walls of the canyon are the most marvelous red in the morning light.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, time with a friend who was kind enough to rescue me when I ran out of gas, and a safe and beautiful trip back to Albuquerque.
