Geranium

Geraniums remind me of my mother. Even though she has been gone 3 and a half years, I still really miss her and it is hard to conceive that the world can go on without her. I like germaniums because they make me feel closer to her.

I am supposed to go to Colorado tomorrow. I am terrified of traveling and hope I don't chicken out. It is about a 6 hour drive to my friend's place and once I get there it will be wonderful. I have no idea why I get so scared of traveling, except that I think it involves spending money.

Today I am grateful for the day I was given, the time I had with my mom, memories of her, and my time throwing this evening.
