My First Piece of Weaving

This was my scarf this afternoon but I have now added a bit more and taken it off the loom. I am pleased with it although the sides are not as even as I would have liked. As the wool is homespun and it is not all exactly the same thickness so has given me a few problems. I have spent the evening trying to make the fringe which is taking me ages, and the battery run out on my camera so decided to put on the shot I took this afternoon.
Weather today has been cold, wet, windy and some hailstones. Winter is here!
