Mountaineering Santa

It’s been blipped before and will be blipped again I have no doubt, but I like it and am quite impressed with how this quick snap came out. It’s Christmas lights in Keswick, hence the climbing motif in a town where every other shop sells outdoor gear.

We were here for the evening to listen to Jay Raynor, Food Writer, at Keswick Theatre by the Lake. He was of course selling his book, whose secondary title is How (almost) everything you thought you knew about food is wrong. And debunk a number of myths is exactly what he did. Far too late now to go into what he said. I will have to consider, and maybe even, dare I say, buy the book. But it was a fascinating, and highly entertaining, evening anyway.
