Summer delight

When I was a wee boy, every summer the local baker used to tempt us youngster with the Strawberry tarts in his window (I believe this illegal under the childrens act now), and as thursday came (my dad was paid on thursday,s) I would get my pocket money (2/6 or half a crown if you were posh) and I would save some money for the next day to buy a tart.
These were my favourites apart from Kola cubes, pear drops, spangles, cheese and onion crisps, limeade, cream buns, bazooka joe chewing gum (of which I was a member), duncans chocolate, and of course turkish delight.Otherwise I wasnt bothered for sweets.
