Lindisfarne

We had a lovely morning in Edinburgh visiting the Castle, then we drove down to Newcastle to stay with my brother and sister in law for the night. On the way we drove to see Lindisfarne and as we drove down the road the sun shone directly on the Island. I jumped out of the car and quickly took this shot!
Once in Newcastle we all met up with my nephew and his wife and daughter and had a great family meal out. We then had a walk and saw the Millenium bridge which looked fantastic all lit up! I took a few shots with my little camera, but I think this one was slightly better in the end.
