Back Blip

Day three of our trip around the South Island with my friends Brenda and Lee from London. The said they had been saving some money for a helicopter ride while they were on holiday in Australia and New Zealand. The morning in Queenstown was so beautiful we thought we would book for a trip. After a wonderful morning visiting Arrowtown we headed to the airport for our trip over the The Remarkables. That was when the cloud started to set in.

It was amazing trip and we landed on top of the Remarkables and the cloud kept away for us. Stunning view and a fantastic trip. After our helicopter ride we took a trip up Lake Wakatipu on the TSS Earnslaw. We didn't stop at the sheep station as it was too late in the day.

That evening we went up on the Queenstown Gondola to catch the sunset.. but the cloud had set in so not sunset. We didn't have a meal there.

It was a full on day but very enjoyable.
