The Band Played On

Here is the North Cascades Concert Band in our formal dress and playing out first concert of the fall season. We played in a new venue, Whatcom Community College. It worked out quite well. The acoustics were very good. We had to bring lots of our own equipment, though, because they do not have a music department here, so it was a challenge to set up. Usually we can use lots of the school equipment.
The theme of our concert was based on a "Hands Across the Sea" ..a European Tour".

and we got back home in time for Christmas so ended with two Christmas tunes.
It was a great trip.
now we have to do it three more times. This Friday I will be on my home turf as we play at the Blaine High School PAC at 7:30. wish you could be there.
