Ernesto Che Guevara Memorial - Santa Clara

Had loads of choice for a blip today but it had to be Che Guevara. His image is everywhere in Cuba, on walls, buildings, in houses, on clothes and hats. He is truly charismatic person still for the Cubans.
We had a long cycle ride through coffee plantations and incredibly poor hill farmers. There was no traffic, just the odd cow, pig, chicken and horse to keep us company!
We visited the Che Guevara Memorial and museum - one of the most important cultural sights in Cuba. you might be interested to know that he took his camera everywhere with him and the camera was in the museum! His blips would have been interesting!
