Drying rice.

Cycling across the ridge of the Cordillera de Guaniguanico range down into the biosphere reserve of Sierra del Rosario we saw vultures, palm trees bananas, small homesteads with all their animals and then came across our first rice drying on the road. The whole family gets involved in raking it over to dry it out.
No wonder on a packet of rice it says wash thoroughly before use!
We ended the day in Vinales - a lively and noisy little town. We ate at a private restaurant in the town and currently the government is turning a blind eye to these private restaurants to encourage visitors.
The waitor also entertained us with his guitar Cuban style and couldn't believe his luck as several of us bought his CD!
