First Of The Winter Snow

The snow started to fall late last night and woke up with a snow cover Shetland :) A few snow showers through the day and meant to be raining tonight!

The snow has keep the visitors away from the museum today but got on with plenty of behind the scenes work :) It'll be quick walkies tonight with Sammy and wrapped up well and an evening with the sofa too :)

With the snow, work colleague Cathy phoned looking for a lift into work. The roads were fairly bad first thing and especially where she stays in the Tingwall Valley. This was the view from the foot of her road just before 9am looking down the Tingwall Valley and towards the southend of Shetland with more snow clouds coming in.
