Old memories

Today was reliving the first seventeen years of my life spending a day in Cheltenham and, an old favourite, a visit to Coombe Hill Canal. An old favourite and clearly a day for alliteration.
It used to be a quiet solitary spot on the shores of the Severn but is now a busy and developed bird reserve. That said as you can see from the image is still has a silent and solitary sense although was full of fowl and fish.
Tomorrow is Bath and Ashburton - am looking forward to a car free day soon!
