Homeward bound

The start of the journey home began today with the departure from the Falklands, continuing via Rio Gallegos, Punta Arenas and Puerto Montt to Santiago. Flying along the sunlit Andes in the early evening meant there were superb views of Torres del Paine and the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, including the Perito Moreno Glacier which I had visited earlier in the trip. Here is a view of the Viedma Glacier and its medial moraines terminating at Lago Viedma (adjacent to El Chaltén).
