Four days later ...

Starting to open up, the leaves are now beginning to take shape.

Today my son-in-law was admitted for an appendectomy - he might be released as soon as tomorrow.
Trusting that he will have a good night's rest, and if not, that at least there will be friendly nurses on duty.

A hot day in Pretoria, no doubt the usual weather pattern of soon expected thunderstorms on its way.

The naked tips of the Jacaranda branches have also started to sprout and change, and soon the city will be clothed in a coat of lilac.
