Borlotti

Another day gurning at the interface - although a few longstanding irritants were finally dealt with.

On one of my wee breaks waiting for the kettle to boil, I noticed the dried borlotti bean pods and extracted the contents - not many, but infinitely more than last year. Last time I got any mature beans was the previous year (what a useful thing is The Blip).

I really like their speckledy appearance!
