Messing around on the River

A shortcut along the Water of Leith after a session in the gym (yes, you read that correctly, in the gym). Don't be fooled by that blue sky, it barely got above zero today.
This was the most peaceful ten minutes of the day which then involved a phone call from school, broken glasses, broken glasses getting fixed, trip to shop due to holes in shoes, new shoes purchased, various child activities and tea in supermarket cafe because I couldn't be bothered to cook after all of the above.
Not sure which was the scariest, the price of the shoes or the fact that the Chief, aged 11, now has the same size feet as me...
