I won this glass brick thing with a 3D cat etching inside in the Children in Need raffle last Friday. Not sure what to do with it other than use it as a photographic prop.

Tonight I tried the Eric Curry multiple shot light painting technique. This one is a blend of 5 exposures using different coloured torchlight from above (the object is just clear glass with no colour). I combined elements of each shot and threw a few black layers in to kill the dust and reflections. It was fiddly work, but I'm quite excited to see how I can apply this technique to bigger, more interesting subjects.
